Bluesilk Productions is a highly motivated video production company comprising of Stella Powell and Alan Grattan.
In 2004, Stella and Alan formed Bluesilk Productions, a video production company based in Kildare. Their first commitment was to the Irish Greyhound Board. They produced a weekly half hour magazine style television programme on the Irish Greyhound Industry. Consequently, over 280 programmes which were aired on, Setanta Sports, TG4 and Sky Sports, all without a hitch!
Similarly, they have been producing inserts for both RTE and CH4’s live horse racing programmes while building a substantial and varied corporate portfolio along the way.
No matter how big or small a project, or the nature of the subject matter, they engage with the same enthusiasm and creativity. Alan brings a wealth of film expertise, a great eye, and high-end production techniques. He leaves the talking to Stella, as he feels she could win a medal for her efforts!
